Great product, poor instructions
This K&N product has met my expectations. I was looking for a boost in HP and a more throaty sound coming from the engine. I got both. While the increase in HP is minimal, it is noticeable. I notice it most when pulling out of a stop in first gear. It needs less gas and has a smoother transition between gears, presumably because of the increased HP. It also has a throaty groan when at higher RPM, which gives it a great sporty sound, in comparison to the stock intake. My only complaint, as with other reviews, was the directions. While I had no problem figuring it out, it took longer than expected to install due to the lack of instructions. The instructions were there, just not enough step by step with related part numbers. You instead have to use the diagram to infer specific parts, as well as counting included parts to confirm which piece was needed where. While this wasn't a huge problem, I have installed more challenging car parts before with far superior instructions. An instruction upgrade is due IMO. Overall, great product.
