Q:Hello I have this intake on my 2011 chevy equinox. It was put on by the previous owner. Since I have had the vehicle I have not messed with the filter and I know that I should change it or clean it but I don't know have to get to it. Please help? Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Monte, I'm glad to assist you. There is just a clamp that holds the filter to the heat shield and pipe. You just have to loosen it to get the filter out. We suggest checking online video sites for reference in disassembling it. And if you're interested in getting a recharge kit to clean the filter, we have one available at this link: https://www.carparts.com/air-filter-cleaner/k-and-n/k33995000?can=CPAE1047_CSQA_20230531 I hope this helps, and happy shopping. Show less
