Question: So I was kinda noticing when I would go to shift gears it would kinda grind for a quick second so I would push my clutch in & try again. At times I would have to double check that it was in gear. While going up hill I needed to down shift & it wouldn’t do anything. It was like it was in neutral. Could only roll backwards. Is that my clutch?Lorie D. / Aug 25, 2022 / 1991 BMW 850iClutch Pivot Stud
Hi Lorie, I'm glad to assist you. We suggest having it checked by a professional mechanic to make sure that it's the clutch you're having trouble with. I hope this helps, and we thank you for inquiring.
