Q:1996 Geo Metro. I broke the tip of the key off in the ignition. They can’t get it out. What can I get to replace the part where the key tip is stuck? Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Anne, I'm pleased to assist you. If you have broken the tip of the key off in the ignition of your 1996 Geo Metro, you will need to replace the ignition switch and ignition lock cylinder. However, we do not have both parts. The clutch pedal ignition switch is a different part. It is a safety interlock switch that prevents the engine from starting unless the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
