I ordered the exhaust manifold for my 2000 Toyota Avalon and both of the gaskets came with this “felt” or carpet covering on them. No idea if this is a part of the gasket or it needs to be peeled off? Can’t find anything online and the covering doesn’t seem to be peeling off easily.AidanFeb 02, 2024
