Catalytic converter change
It works. The exhaust manifold on the left side the housing was to thick so I had to shave it down to fit into place. Also in the middle of the exhaust manifold it was a little thick had to file that down a little so it could fit around a stud on the engine. I would say they need to take a stock manifold and mold it after that. The cat works well though that's what I needed I got the dreaded po420. Good For The Price, Slight Modification Needed For Easy Install.
Very good price for a cat. The only main flaw in the design is that the left hand upper corner (By the power steering pump) of the new cat is wider than the original. If you want to get the part in without removing the power steering pump, you have to grind it down a bit. But that's what angle grinders are for. It does smoke a bit from the engine compartment during it's first few hours of break in, but that's normal. Overall, it seems to be working just fine so far.
