To pass or not to pass....
the service engine light on my dashboard would not allow for NJ emissions to be passed at inspection. My 7 year old Seville with 124,000 was not ready to go the dealer for a $1,200 total catalytic convertor replacement, nor did my local automotive's $750 "bargain" sit well with me. I bought your guaranteed catalytic convertor for $178, including delivery to my door in four days and took it to a local mechanic who cut the old one off, welded on the new one, and made the service engine light disappear for $125. My car got through its emission test, has a new sticker good for two years, and my wallet much appreciated the total cost of $303. Been fine for two months and 2,800 miles since the job was done......thanks!
