Are clogs with the Audi A4 Quattro catalytic converter normal?
Yes. Clogs happen because the catalytic converter builds up chemical matter after repeated and long-term use--this is perfectly normal, as long as the unit remains intact. The common sign that will indicate clogs is when the Audi A4 Quattro fails to accelerate right away when the gas pedal is stepped on. Worse cases of clog may totally render the car dead.
