Finding Out When Your Nissan Titan Cabin Air Filter is Failing
The reason why you are enjoying fresh air inside your car even when the windows are rolled down is the Nissan Titan cabin air filter. It is usually made of pleated-paper, and its function is to prevent pollutants, allergens, and dust from entering your vehicle's passenger area. However, it is exactly this job that causes the cabin air filter to fail. Dirt usually builds up, which leads to the clogging of the filter. Change in cabin temperature
You would know that your cabin air filter is not functioning properly when you start to notice a gradual or significant increase in cabin temperature. Usually, the cause of this problem is an overworked air-conditioning system that has a reduced airflow. Decrease in horsepower

Excessive dust buildup on the dash
When there is an accumulation of dust in your cabin especially on the dashboard, the possible culprit behind this is a clogged cabin air filter. Take the filter out and inspect if it is clogged, which would require you to replace it. Be careful when you're removing the filter, though. Make sure you don't flip it out or tear it because dirt might fall into the other systems in your vehicle.
