It has to be unfolded by sitting in the sun? We're headed into cold weather here. Will that still work? I have a heat gun for shrink wrap, and have a hair dryer. Will either of those suffice?Randall R.Oct 16, 2022

Hi, I bought this bumper.  It should arrive in the mail tomorrow.  I watched the directions for unfolding the bumper in the sun.  In that video it mentions that I need to scuff and prime the bumper before painting.  Is this necessary?  The bumper comes preprimed.  Thanks, TimA shopperAug 05, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! For best results, you would want to prep the surface for a primer that is compatible with the paint that you would like to use - some paint doesn't stick as well unless it is to it's recommended primer.
