The original brackets are actual steel, these are a really thin (presumably aluminum) material. They did not ship in a box so they were all bent out of shape. Not to mention it looks like they were bunched out of a flat template and then bent by a child to the shape they are supposed to be. So after some bending and chuckling about the poor quality, my bumper is on straight and they seem to hold. Todays the first day so we will see, but they do seem to do the job.
