The Z36 (Truck and Tow) offers about 25-30% more stopping power than stock, while the Z23 is good for about 15-20% better than stock. Z23 will have less brake dust overall and will last a bit longer. The Z36 pads are made from slightly different materials to get that better stopping power. Lastly, the lifespan of the Z36 pads is about 10-15% less than Z23 pads. I hope this helps. Ram should have these on from the factory or atleast an option. They are much better over stock. I'm now committed to putting power stop drilled slotted rotors on all my vehicels.

Great brake system
Crossing the Big Horn Mountains on a regular basis takes a toll on a braking system. My originals had went 111,883 miles and the sensors were touching on the rear with some moderate pulsation. A full kit with rotors was 70 bucks cheaper from the local retailers but plain rotors. This kit is amazing. All of the hardware was included. Installed the brakes, put them through the break in procedure and they have been perfect. Would cross the mountains using the trans and downshift to keep the brakes from overheating. Now I zip across using the brakes constantly and no issues. Great stops and zero fade. My Equinox has only 60k but will get a set for it so I will be ready when the time comes. Shipping was free and showed up early with everything intact. Purchasing this kit is really the only one you should consider. Can you really go overkill on the braking system I don't think so.
