Product Questions & Answers

Q:2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71 5.3 Flex Fuel with Brake Booster that uses the "PUMP. Vacuum Power Brake Pump." The original booster has "AAK" on it. I bought a remanufactured booster and installed it. It had a white note attached to it saying "removal of check valve will void the warranty." Well, to connect the Vacuum Power Brake Pump I had to remove the check valve and install the pump. Now the booster obviously doesn't work as it takes 2 feet to stop the Tahoe. I need to buy another booster but don't want to buy one with that stipulation as it's required to add the pump. I did check the pump and it does work so that is ruled out. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated? Thank you. Patrick Show Less
