Product Questions & Answers

Q:Does this fan need weights when its turned on so it doesnt rattle or make noise and vibrate? Show Less
Holliee W.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Holliee, I'm pleased to assist you. There could be something off-balance within your blower, causing the fan to make vibrating sounds when it spins. Other causes of vibration would include mechanical looseness, coupling misalignment, the insufficient flatness of bearing mounting surfaces, isolators, and v-belt slippage. Check the fan and motor for signs of dust or debris build-up or any other kind of obstruction and clear it away to see if the problem has been solved. I hope this is helpful. Have a wonderful day. Show less

Where Is the Blower Motor Located?
Where Is the Blower Motor Located?Resistors can be found near the blower motor, sitting in the duct where airflow passes, so they can be cooled down because resistance in a current intensive circuit creates quite a bit of heat in the resistor.
