Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Turn off the vehicle’s ignition, engage the parking brake, and open the hood.

Step 2: Locate the airbox in the engine compartment.

Step 3: Disconnect the air flow meter connector by pulling the retaining tab.

Step 4: Unclip the three holding latches on the airbox cover.

Step 5: Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the holding clip for the air intake duct on the airbox.

Step 6: Remove the air intake duct by pulling it out.

Step 7: Pull out the flange.

Step 8: Remove the old air filter from the airbox.

Step 9: Clean the filter compartment from any impurities or debris.

Step 10: Ensure the new air filter matches the old one in size and shape.

Step 11: Insert the new air filter into the airbox.

Step 12: Incline the flange and align the interlocking studs for insertion.

Step 13: Place the duct back by aligning the arrows and tightening the clamp.

Step 14: Lock the flange in place using the three latches.

Step 15: Reconnect the air flow meter connector and lock it in place.
