Hyundai just released the price range for the new Palisade and there’s a $140 difference between its cost and that of the Kia Telluride.

Both models come with a 291-horsepower V-6 engine and are offered with all-wheel drive. But the new three-row Palisade, positioned by Hyundai as a more luxurious version of the Kia Telluride and is at the top of the brand’s SUV lineup, will be cheaper than its Kia counterpart once it hits dealerships.

The base SE trim of the upcoming Palisade is priced at $32,595, which is less than the Telluride’s base price of $32,735.

The front-drive Palisade SE comes equipped with standard driver-assistance features like automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist, plus other convenience items such as power-folding second-row seats, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as projector headlights with LED running lights.

The mid-range SEL trim, meanwhile, costs $34,545 and is packed with blind-spot assist, rear cross-traffic alert, heated front seats, keyless entry and pushbutton start, and dual-zone climate control. The SEL is also offered with a package that includes some of the features of the Limited trim, although pricing has not been released.

The top-of-the-line Palisade Limited is priced at $45,745 and adds a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, a digital gauge cluster, heated steering wheel, LED head- and taillights, power features and ventilation for the front seats, a 10.3-inch central touchscreen with navigation, self-leveling rear suspension, a Harmon Kardon sound system, and a panoramic sunroof, among others. It also comes with special aluminum-look exterior accents, 20-inch wheels, and leather upholstery.

All-wheel drive is an option for all trim levels for an additional cost of $1,700. However, the base trim Palisade SE is only available with an eight-seat layout, while the Limited is strictly a seven-seater SUV. The mid-range SEL is available with either seating setup options.
