Q:Where is the reverse light switch located on my 2005 Ford mustang v6 automatic transmission? Show Less
Joshua H.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Josh, I'm glad to assist you. The reverse light switch function is integrated into the transmission range sensor (TRS), also commonly referred to as the neutral safety switch. This component is located on the side of the transmission where the shift linkage connects (of your 2005 Ford Mustang V6 with an automatic transmission). Upon checking, we do not carry a direct-fit reverse light switch for your car. Show less

Q:I was wondering was this the right switch for my jaguar xtype. My brake lights stay on, I noticed a lot of play on my brakes, plus the brake pedal is not releasing all the way up enough to tough the button that turns them off. Could you direct me in the location I need to go ? Or tell me the name of the part I need? Thank you Desperately in need for help Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi, Unfortunately this is not a direct fit specific for your vehicle application. This universal back up light switch will require you to make modifications such as re-wiring, etc. If you have other problems such as the too much play on your brakes, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about troubleshooting, diagnostic and repair. Still, it is best to consult your trusted local auto repair shop or dealership for this as well if you need to. You can find more information here as well: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/ Show less
