Product Questions & Answers

Q:If the transmission speed sensor is located in the valve body, where is the SC 479 automatic transmission output shaft speed sensor located on my 07 pathfinder? Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Richard, I had to do a little research to answer this question and my first response (the one that automatically got emailed) appears to be partially incorrect. It looks like there is a revolution sensor mounted on the transmission (from the diagram, it appears to be on the left-hand side). But if you're only missing reverse, it's highly unlikely that this sensor is your problem. No reverse gear usually indicates an internal transmission problem or (if you're lucky) an issue with the valve body. For a definitive answer, you’ll need to visit a repair facility in your area for a professional, in-person assessment. Good luck! Show less
