Product Questions & Answers

Q:I have an 03 mitsibishi eclipse gt 3.0 I replaced the output speed sensor and it the speedometer is still not registering and it's shifting hard. Why? Show Less
Mark01
A:BEST ANSWERHi Markl, I'm glad to assist you. Automatic transmissions that shift hard, jerk or shake during a shift change may mean your transmission fluid needs changed or fluid level is low. In manual transmission vehicles, abnormal gear shifts could indicate damaged gear synchros, worn clutches or other, more severe issues. It is best to have your vehicle checked and diagnosed in real-time so the mechanic can generate a diagnostic code and identify the defective part. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. Show less
