Plus points
- This air compressor was really beneficial for us since our off-roader is fitted with large tires. It is a common knowledge for off-roaders that as the terrain changes, it is sometimes best to lower the tire’s pressure to achieve better traction. It is during those times that we become so thankful for choosing this air compressor kit. It has saved us so many times by helping us in rapidly lowering the air pressure of our tires just so our ride can perform well. Conversely, it has also been our savior during those instances when we need to re-inflate our newly repaired tires.
- We’ve already used the kit in just about any type of environment and weather, and we can say that it really lives up to its promise of being moisture and rust resistant. Until now, it still performs well with no sign that it will give up on us anytime soon.
Negative points
- Since it is sold as a kit, this ARB product doesn’t come cheap. So unless you really need high-performance, portable air compressor, this might not be the best choice for you.

For serious off-roaders like us who’ve fitted our off-road vehicle with large tires, this ARB portable air compressor is such a great investment. It could spell the difference between a thrilling off-road adventure and a failed one due to over- or under-inflated tires.
