Product Questions & Answers

Q:Do you have to  recalibrate after installing?
Denny M.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Denny, I'm glad to help you out. How to relearn the accelerator pedal position sensor - Make sure that the accelerator pedal is fully released. Turn ignition switch “ON” but, don't start the car, and wait at least 2 seconds. Turn ignition switch “OFF” wait at least 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch “ON” and wait at least 2 seconds. Depress the gas pedal full to the floor, and then let go, all within 2 seconds. You should hear a "ding" sound indicating that the pedal travel distance has been reset in the PCM. I hope this helps.
