But manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil" and refill with the "proper PAG oil" amount upon installation. The other purpose of the added oil is to protect the compressor during its stay on the dealer's shelves, retailers' stores, and in the course of transport. A/C Compressor - Sold Individually
A C compressor for 2003 V W Bettle
Got the first one in a kit , bolted on correctly and lines hooked up as supposed to. Connector plug was wrong for my vehicle . Changed that and all worked well for 400 miles then compressor started rattling bad . Got the replacement went through all the flushing and replacing and charged it to correct pressures and amount and it also works good . Hope this one does not go out . Happy with the customer service , will buy more parts when I need them
