Best Answer:Hi Louis, thank you for reaching out. If you're installing a new a/c compressor, drain all the refrigerant oil from the removed a/c compressor and measure its volume. Subtract the volume of drained oil from 120cc (4.20 oz.). The result is the amount of oil you should drain from the new compressor (through the suction fitting). If no oil was drained from the old a/c compressor, don't drain more than 50cc (1.6907 ounces) from the new compressor.
