How do you know if the purge solenoid is bad?Tom I.Sep 19, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Tom, One of the first symptoms that a faulty canister purge valve may produce is a rough idle. If the canister purge valve fails and sticks open, it will create a vacuum leak that can affect the engine idle speed and quality. Still, it is best to have that consulted with a professional mechanic on your trusted automotive shop or dealership to be accurate on the troubleshooting and diagnostic.
