Best Answer:A transponder key is a key with a chip located at the top part of the key and will only work for that specific vehicle. This year make and model does not have a transponder key nor does it offer that type of key.

Best Answer:Hi Mike, I'm glad to help you out. Spray it with WD40 and try to move the steering wheel back and forth while gently removing the key from the lock position. Sometimes the steering wheel will lock, and when this happens, the ignition switch will keep your key locked in place until the steering system is unlocked. Don't pull hard on the key at all. Another easy method for removing a stuck key is to push down on the key cylinder with your left index finger while simultaneously jiggling the key with your right hand. This can loosen the grasp of the springs and pins located inside the cylinder and allow the key to slide out. No. This is only for the ignition. You'll have 2 sets of keys, for the ignition and 1 for the doors and trunk. You can also find an auto locksmith in your area to make 1 key work for all.
