Hi, how do I unplug the gage connector from the sensor without removing the skid plate and putting it on a hoist. I can get my hands on it and a flat head to it but cannot pry it loose while on my back underneath, nor can I find a video of what's locking the connector in place?Mark S.May 19, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Mark, To unplug the oil pressure switch connector on your vehicle: 1. Locate the tab on the connector. 2. Press down the tab to unlock the connector. 3. While holding the tab, carefully pull the connector off the switch. If it's difficult due to limited space or visibility, a small mirror or electronics-safe cleaner might help. If still challenging, removing the skid plate for better access might be necessary. Always prioritize safety when working underneath a vehicle. Consider professional help if needed.

The new pressure switch is showing the same pressure as the old switch did, like its low on oil, not on the regular mark?A shopperJan 04, 2021
Best Answer:Hi, We highly recommend having the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to determine what part needs replacement.
