Fuel Pump Electric With Fuel Sending Unit
Worked well and I saved some serious money too.
Tx APW. Saved about 50% on part cost. Easy to install and saved about $180 in labor costs. FP's is a common issue on the 01 MB ML 320. 1) Removed rear seat bolts/10mm Start Bots to remove right side rear seat. 2) Tested power to bad FP, by cranking car and seeing the Hot wire light up the test lamp. Removed the fuse from inside the MB ML320 (by passenger foot area) for safety. 2.1) Depressurize the fuel by pressing the valve stem like button in the engine compartment by the front left just above the spark plug area. Towel helpful/needed for the small fuel gush... 3) Removed the fuel pump round cover by gently hitting with a hammer and chisel to take out the large retainer ring. 4) Installed new pump with seal. Reverse the order to install parts. Started right up. Plenty of helpful videos on YouTube/Search online.
