I mounted your gasket on my Jeep Wrangler TJ why is there two extra rabbit ears sticking up for bolt holes of gasket material is it the wrong one? Or this made to fit multiple Styles? My mechanic put it on but I hope you put it on right there two extra Volvo gasket sticking up like two earsH A.Mar 21, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Havel, As per checking, this is made to fit a 3.8L engine for a Jeep, covering 1965 to 1971 J-3800/J-2500/J-4500/J-4600 models....etc. This will not fit the 1996 Jeep Wrangler TJ onwards vehicles.

Customer Reviews

Fit fine. Gaskets are holding. The cover-to-block gasket is the now-common 'paper' type you find, but no problems. Fit a 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L, 'classic'.

Fit perfect. Did oil pump, oil pan, rear main seal, timing chain, timing, cover water pump. Fixed all the leaks on the motor except the oil filter relocator. Need a torxs bit. Anyway sprayed some 3m spray adhesive on the gasket to hold it in place on the cover during install. Put it on lined up the harmonic balancer took it off. Tightened the bolts. Easy money. Don't forget to use rtv at the corners where it meets the oilpan so you don't have leaks!
