I have a 04 chevy trailblazer 4x4 and I have just started experiencing some of the problems that was menchaned below the only thing is that mine is stalling and when put back in park to start the  trailblazer  it would click but if you put it in neutral turn the key the truck will roll forward and once you let go of the ignition  the truck has started  but while driving  it some times will not shift at all and i was wondering if I should just replace just that one solenoid or all of them?DANIEL G.Jun 29, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! Automatic transmissions are notoriously difficult to diagnose, so I would recommend taking it to a specialist that can provide you with a list of parts needed, so you don't end up buying the wrong parts.

Does this control the shift timing of transmission??Dan C.Mar 04, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Dan, A transmission solenoid is an electro-hydraulic valve that controls fluid flow into and throughout an automatic transmission. Solenoids can be normally open or normally closed. They operate via a voltage or current supplied by the transmission computer or controller. If you’re experiencing transmission solenoid troubles, it will become evident in one of four ways: 1. Delayed gear shifting 2. You can’t downshift, and your engine continues to rev even when applying the brakes 3. Your transmission gets stuck in neutral 4. Shifting gears become rough and choppy Still, we recommend referring to your trusted local auto repair shop/certified technician for the troubleshooting and repair.
