Best Answer:Hi Daniel, If upon turning the switch, you hear either a buzzing or a grinding noise coming from the wiper area but no movement of the windshield wipers, it is likely that there is a mechanical problem. It could be a motor straining to move a jammed wiper transmission or a locked motor gear. It is highly recommended that the wiper motor be replaced.

Best Answer:Hello! Perhaps the switch is bad? I would check power going to the switch, then make sure it is sending power when activated. If it's not the switch, there must be a break in the wiring somewhere.
