I HAVE A 2005 2500HD REPLACED MASS DID NOT GET ONE WITH TEMP WHEN COLD WEATHER CHECK ENGINE LIGT ON WHEN WEATHER WARMES UP LIGHT GOES OUT WILL THIS ONE CORRECT PROBLEM?doug s.Dec 29, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Doug, I don't think this part will solve the problem. A Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) is one of the key components of an electronic fuel injection system in your car. Cold temperatures may be causing the gas cap seals to be stiff and not seat properly on the end of the filler tube and cause the engine check light to come on and this usually disappears in warm weather. Try changing the gas cap first.
