I am looking at this kit as a replacement for my 1991 GMC Sierra 1500 long bed tailgate latch assembly. However, the above sets all reference step-side. Parts worked well, more care in the packing to insure proper parts are packed would be advised.
Rods I received were about 8 inches too short. I cleaned up the old ones and used them and everything worked out fine.
