I have a 1996 bmw 328i  and i put aftermarket 19 inch wheels and spacers on. Now im rubbing in the rear of the fender. The fronts ok but what type of air shocks do i need to raise my fender about 1inch?Shawn F.Sep 10, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! Unfortunately the rear shock mount of an e36 is a known weak point, and added load from air shocks would likely cause structural failure. My best advice would be to source new springs that raise the vehicle, or adjustable springs from a company like Ground-Control.
