I ordered this part to replace a torn CV boot. Item is just what I ordered and if you are only wanting to replace the boot, then this works great! But, I would also recommend that you research the cost of replacing the entire axle and not just the boot. The cost of removing the axle is the same either way, but the labor to disassemble the axle to replace the boot is as much or more than spending the extra to replace the entire axle. I am not saying that this item is not what you want, just saying that it may be worth the extra to replace the entire axle including both CV boots at the same time....
