Q:I have a 05 cadillac cts 3.6 and I don't know where the part is located in the car could you please help me out with this? Show Less
Eric H.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Eric, I'm glad to assist you. It's the panel below the steering wheel. Pop the side cover on the end that looks like a fuse cover. Pop the two trim pieces off the dash on both sides of the steering wheel (carbon or wood), under the dash, black plastic, pull that off (3 screws and it snaps by the pedals). Then grab that knee booster panel and gently tug from the bottom, it'll pop loose. Now lay upside down and unplug the throttle pedal. The BCM is to the right of the column above the throttle pedal plug. It has 6 plugs. Take note of the location of the colors, then unplug them and wiggle the harness out of the way.
