A faulty catalytic converter will cause your vehicle to emit more harmful gasses into the atmosphere. As a result, your vehicle could fail an emissions test. This is because catalytic converters are responsible for changing harmful substances in the exhaust gasses like carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, and hydrocarbons, into less harmful substances like carbon dioxide and water vapor. If it fails, it will not be able to do its job.

On a Walker 15501 Catalytic Converter:
“This catalytic converter was a direct fit for my son’s 2005 Nissan Frontier. It fit perfectly and was shipped fast! I bought a Nissan cat for the right side six months before this purchase, but I wish I bought a walker exhaust for that side too. I would have saved about $400. The Walker cat is almost the same size as OEM. Some aftermarket cats are a lot smaller than OEM, but not this one. I can hardly tell the difference between the two. Walker mufflers is a good brand as it’s been around for as long as I can remember.”

This is my second Walker catalytic converter. My first was on a car that I sold recently. When I decided to replace the catalytic converter and cat-back exhaust on my current daily driver, I chose Walker due to their high quality, direct OEM fit, and reasonable price. I had my car inspected and emissions tested a week after installation. The drop in emissions was incredible compared to last year’s numbers. Very clean. I highly recommend this.
On a Walker 15601 Catalytic Converter:
I installed this on a 2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7L double cab with a standard bed, 6-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive. Installation was on and off and I used the original bolts and O2 sensors and hanger. Sadly, this does not come with gaskets. I also installed a JBA dual-pipe exhaust behind it which fit very well. Despite some pipe pressure being required or them to be matched together, it did not require bending, cutting, welding, or other significant manipulation. Overall, it was good. There are also no leaks.

I have used Walker muffler parts in the past and their quality is still up there. Most companies have cheapened their products but this company still maintains its standards.
