Following the introduction of new colors Army Green, Voodoo Blue, and Quicksand, Toyota is giving the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia another color option for the coming model year.
The Japanese automaker is releasing a special Lunar Rock paint job, which gives off a bluish-green and gray exterior color, for the four models in time for 2021. As with the previous releases, it’s going to be available on the TRD Pro variant of the four models.
Along with this update, the 2021 4Runner TRD Pro will have new wheels wrapped with Nitto Terra Grappler tires to complete a more angular look.
Also included in the list of new features for the TRD are updated 2.5-inch Fox internal-bypass shock, as well as springs specially tuned for a few inches of front lift. This setup is the same as the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave’s.
Standard LED headlights are also going to be offered on the 2021 4Runner. The Limited, Nightshade, and TRD Pro trims, meanwhile, will get LED high-beams complete with LED fog lights.
All of these design updates will also be available on the TRD Pro variants of the Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia save for the updated suspension setup and the LED lights.
The new trucks are expected to arrive at dealerships by the end of the year. The 4Runner TRD Pro picks up a starting price of $51,645, while the the Tundra TRD Pro starts at $54,645 and the Tacoma TRD Pro falls within the $45,000 price range. Meanwhile, the Sequoia TRD Pro will be sold at around $65,000.
