Set to arrive in dealerships soon, Toyota has released the official pricing for its 2020 Camry TRD. And with the updates given on the sedan’s latest generation, buyers would be thrilled to know that the car is not as expensive as other models that have similar features.

The 2020 Toyota Camry TRD is reported to have a starting price of $31,995, inclusive of the $995 destination charge. It is $4,000 more affordable than its sportier sibling, the Camry XSE.

Compared to its brand-mates and market rivals, the upcoming Camry TRD has a very competitive pricing. To be more concrete, the Camry XKE equipped with a V-6 engine starts at $35,405 while the top tier XSE trim begins at $35,955. The Honda Accord 2.0T, while also affordable at $31,640, is only offered with the automatic in the same price range.

The 2020 Toyota Camry TRD is equipped with the naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 301 horsepower, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Such performance makes the new Camry an ideal choice for buyers who are looking for a sporty sedan that’s not too over-the-top.

For its price tag, the Camry TRD is also packed with an array of “track-tuned upgrades such as bigger brakes and improved suspension setup that lowers the vehicle by 0.6 inches.” Additionally, the sedan also features a new aerodynamic body kit, TRD exhaust, matte black wheels, red badging, and red brake calipers.

However, Toyota will be offering the Navigation Package or Driver Assist Package on the Camry TRD. This means that the new Camry will not have a surround-view monitor and rear emergency braking, but it will still come with advanced safety features as a standard like the automatic emergency braking. The TRD will also have SofTex synthetic leather seats instead of the leather seats fitted in the Camry XSE.
