Ram is giving its 2020 Ram 1500 pickup lineup a boost with the addition of a new Southwest Edition model. The special edition will be available in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and New Mexico beginning the second quarter of the year.
The Southwest Edition of the Ram 1500 pickup will be offered for the Laramie trim and will include an appearance and equipment package.
According to reports, the special edition is not too far from the Laramie’s Sport appearance package. It also features a monochromatic appearance with body-color bumpers, chrome accents, and 20-inch wheels. In terms of equipment, it will offer a panoramic sunroof, a 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-retractable running boards, as well as several driver-assistance systems.
The new package will be available for $47,075 and is going to be offered with the same bed lengths, cab configurations, and powertrain combinations as the standard Laramie trim. This includes a 3.6-liter V-6, a 5.7-liter V-8, and a turbodiesel 3.0-liter V-6.
