A monochromatic treatment is coming to the 2020 Ram HD 2500 and 3500 as the automaker announced Limited Blackout Edition packages for both trucks.
For an additional $1,295, buyers of the range-topping Limited variant can get black exterior pieces, including door handles, grille, headlight, and taillight bezels, badging, side-view mirrors, tow hooks, and wheels.
But aside from the blacked-out exterior, the interiors of the Ram heavy-duty trucks are also getting black leather and other black-trimmed components with some silver accents, which include a large 12.0-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system issued as standard equipment on the Limited trim.
The Blackout package is available on any engine configuration, whether it’s the 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine or the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel inline-six. It’s also offered in both rear- and four-wheel-drive layouts, as well as both the single and dual-rear-wheel setups.
The starting price for a 2020 Ram 2500 HD Limited with a rear-wheel-drive and gasoline V-8 is $64,440. Dressed with a full-on Blackout package, the total climbs to just below $66,000.
For customers keen on exploring other blackout options, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is also offering the Dodge Blackout, the S appearance package on the Chrysler, as well as black accents on the Jeep Altitude and High Altitude.
Black Edition Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks are set to arrive at dealerships in the third quarter of this year.
