Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is ushering in the new year with three new versions of the Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
Each new variant will be offered at a different price point and will come with a varying set of standard equipment. This is to ensure preferences of buyers are met with great satisfaction.
The base model is the Ram 2500 Tradesman Power Wagon, which is modeled after the 2500’s Tradesman trim level. It comes with Tru-Lok front and rear axles, a 4.10 axle ratio, Articulink suspension, a front disconnecting sway bar, performance-tuned dampers, and 17-inch matte black wheels with all-terrain tires as standard equipment. Also included in the list of standard accessories are protective skid plates for both the fuel tank and transfer case, front fog lamps, and a 12,000-pound electric winch mounted at the front.
The Tradesman Power Wagon Package retails for $7,995 and will be offered on the Ram 2500’s Crew Cab model with a 6’4″ box. This brings the total cost to $50,240.
Next to the Tradesman is the Ram 2500 with a standard Power Wagon. For $55,230, it comes with more standard features than the entry-level Tradesman. A Power Wagon Level 2 Equipment Package worth $5,795 is also offered as an option. Some of the features included in this trim level are second-row in-floor storage bins, heated front and rear seats, a heated wheel, a 115-volt power outlet with a 400-Watt inverter, automatic high beams, memory settings for the driver’s seat and mirrors, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system.
Most of these features are also available on the range-topping 75th Anniversary Edition Package, which also comes witha 17-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, beadlock-capable wheels, and 12-inch Uconnect infotainment. The addition of the special Anniversary Edition puts the Ram 2500 at $66,945.
