The Legacy has a starting price of $22,745, which is a $200 increase from last year’s price, while the Outback received a $300 price increase starting at $26,645.

Entry-level trims of both models offer a suite of driver-assist systems that include adaptive cruise control with lane-centering functions as well as a heads-up display. They also come with standard LED lights and a 7-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2020 Subaru Legacy has a starting price of $22,745, which is a $200 increase from last year’s price, while the Outback received a $300 price increase starting at $26,645.

Both models also share the same 2.5-liter boxer four-pot which makes 182 horsepower, mated with an eight-speed manual transmission, plus an auto start-stop system.

But as the trim levels go higher, the prices also increase significantly. The Legacy Touring XT which comes with Nappa leather, a power moonroof, navigation, additional driver-assist systems, and a bigger 11.6-inch infotainment screen is offered at $35,895. It is equipped with a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 260 horsepower.

The Outback Touring XT has the similar upgraded package along with spacious interior and the turbocharged engine, but it is offered at $39,695. An additional $1,010 is needed for the Outback’s destination charge, while it comes at $900 for the Legacy.

Both models are now available for sale.
