I do have a Porsche Boxster 2007 Base modele, 6 cylinders
after 14 years and now 111000 miles I can only say that this car has been great and it is true that maintenance wise it is not cheap but who would buy an expensive car with a great engineering and expect low cost maintenance or not following the schedule ? with this one I never had any unexpected maintenance. I simply stick with the maintenance calendar and do the maintenance only at Porsche. this car is a commitment if you are not ready for that get something else.
As I said, maintenance always done at Porsche so if anyone has any question I can definitely answer.

I have a 2006 with 160000 miles, only issues have been (i) convertible top pistons, (ii) emissions, AOS and MAF, not bad for such an elder car. Best car I have ever owned. My shop sees Boxsters with 300000 miles

I have a 2001 base model with just shy of 50000 miles. I love it 💕 The companies that beat them up for IMS bearings so they can promote their fix. I’m calling B.S. on that. Actually my 2001 has a failure rate of less then 3%. That vintage were all made in Finland and most have good bearings. My Boxster is fun,fun,fun to drive.
