I bought my 2014 Nissan Murano in 2019 from a car dealership. I happened to spy it in the "back lot" and asked abt. It . I learned it was a trade in. My mechanic checked it out and said it drove well and sounded strong. There was no rust to be seen and it was In " like new " condition inside and out, plus it was their top model. It had 158,890 on the Odometer. The asking price was $8,200. , I offered him $6,000 cash . The deal would include all taxes ect. to be paid by the seller. He excepted my offer immediately. Nearly 4 yrs. Later with zero Problems , and my Murano looks and preforms like the day I

Transmission problems with the 2015 murano

We have had 2 ac compressors, broken exterior door handle, some coil in dash that regulates dash icons and lights replaced. Last time in told differential was leaking. Power steering belt broke. Every month something else . Sold it this month.
Paint chipping on 2014 Nissan Murano Pearly White finish. Took pictures and sent it to Nissan Hdqrs. Some idiot called me back to only repeat Its not under warranty. Looking for a new car now. Definitely not a Nisson.
If I understand you correctly, you want them to fix a 10 year old paint job. Maybe they should do all maintenance for free for the life of the vehicle? Better yet the life of the customer, allowing you to sell it with the magnificent worry-free free warranty.
