TheF-150 Raptor off-road pickup remains to be one of the most popular models in the Ford’s lineup. It continues to deliver the numbers in sales and popularity, which is why it’s not entirely surprising that the company is rumored to be working on another Raptor for 2023.
If the LinkedIn profile of a yet-to-be-identified Ford employee is to be believed, there could be a 2023 Bronco Raptor coming from the Blue Oval. The said employee updated their job title on the business-oriented online service to show “EDS Systems Engineer” for what is reportedly the “2021 Bronco / 2023 Bronco Raptor.”
EDS or Electrical Distribution System involves designing the wiring harness and electrical systems of a vehicle.
The reports started when screenshots of the employee’s LinkedIn page were shared on the Bronco6G forums. The engineer is believed to be working at Ford for nearly three decades, giving forum members credence to the claim.
If everything turns out to be true and Ford announces a 2023 Bronco Raptor is indeed coming, this would confirm earlier reports on the same forum regarding a Raptor model joining the Bronco portfolio in 2023.
While the Bronco Raptor remains unconfirmed, interested customers can settle with the F-150 Raptor for now. The off-road pickup is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers up to 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.
