Movie-Car Mashup: Famous Films Turned Into Cars

Everybody loves a good blockbuster. From cult classics like Jaws to modern cultural phenomena like Barbenheimer, films have touched the hearts and minds of moviegoers the world over. We at CarParts.com are no different, and we figured it’d be fun to see how some of our favorite big-screen hits translate into some cool cars. Here’s how we envisioned the most iconic movies would look like as cars with the help of AI.

Star Wars (1977)

Star Wars (1977) has a full cast of memorable characters, but alas we could only pick one to transform for this list. We had to go with R2-D2. The droid’s iconic trash-can shape, blue and white color scheme, and sassy beeps and boops have won over many a Star Wars fan. As such, a Volkswagen Beetle with its tall, rounded body was perfect for this vision of a Star Wars-themed car.

Jaws (1975)

Its already-shark-like features just needed that extra oomph, so we gave it pointed teeth and put it in the water.

For this movie car, we chose the iconic Porsche from the last scene in the 2022 movie, adding the star from the USAF aircraft insignia to one of its doors as a salute to the duology. We only regret that we couldn’t get Jennifer Connelly to stand beside it while waiting for Tom Cruise.

Our second choice is a 1940s Cadillac in a more colorful, complex world, to show the complex results of Oppenheimer’s work.
