A week before its official reveal, Ford shared another picture of the upcoming 2021 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport. This time, it’s not a computer-generated image.
Following recent updates posted on Instagram, the automaker continues to drum up excitement for the highly awaited return of the Bronco nameplate.
Just last week, the Blue Oval shared a video where the sound of the Bronco’s engine can be heard. Teaser images showing the new Bronco’s front grille and rear end were also released.
On Monday, the carmaker shared another teaser image showing a silhouette of the three upcoming Bronco models, plus another video that gives a glimpse of the vehicle in action.
In the photo are the two- and four-door versions of the “big” Bronco as well as the Bronco Sport without cover. The two-door variant also has its doors and roof removed. The photos are consistent with images that were released a while back, confirming their veracity even without a statement from Ford that time.
As for the new video, both the Bronco and Bronco Sport are seen moving through off-road terrain. It also lends a better look on the front and rear ends of the vehicles, particularly the thick bumper, integrated fog lights, tow hooks, fog hood, the B-shaped taillights, the tailgate, and large fender flares.
In addition to the new teaser image and video, Ford also revealed that buyers of the SUV will be given access to “Off-Roadeo” driving schools located across the U.S.
Moreover, all Bronco models will have “Built Wild” capability, which is the automaker’s version of the Trail Rated badge found in Jeep vehicles. The Built Wild feature will be available as standard equipment for the four-wheel-drive variant.
The 2021 Ford Bronco is scheduled to debut on July 13 through a series of short films to be broadcast through various networks under the Disney umbrella. Reservations for the new Bronco will also open on the same day with a $100 fee.
