Why You May Need KC Hilites H4 Performance Series Headlights
If your factory headlights are cracked, broken, or faded, the KC headlight replacements are a great option.
Now the reason that I am installing new headlights in this Jeep is because a few years ago, I actually polished [my old] headlights out. The problem is you’ve got to do it about once a year or more, [and] for some reason, once you polish the headlights, they never last as long as they did when they were brand new. Plus you can see down in the bottom, you can see a lot of the reflective material is faded or chipped off.

These very clear headlights have outstanding quality, are easy to install, and a great upgrade to factory headlights for the Jeep JK if you don’t mind spending a little more for replacement headlights that will last a very long time.

Initial Observations
The KC headlight replacements are very clear and the quality is outstanding. These headlight replacements meet my expectations.
These are an upgrade to the factory headlights. They actually come with an H4 bulb instead of the H13 bulb, and these are made by KC Hilites. They were very popular for years [and] the number one off-road light you wanted was KC Daylighters… They’re upgraded to an H4 bulb. Instead of just your regular cheap plastic lens, they’re polycarbonate. They are DOT approved. You’re not going to be able to go wrong with KC.

The Fit
Installation
The installation is very easy to perform with basic hand tools. It takes less than 30 min to install both headlights. Any DIYer can install this product if they have basic hand tools.
Performance and Overall Quality
The KC headlights are bright and make driving at night feel like I am in a new vehicle. The headlights perform as good or better than factory headlights.

- Tip: If you want a quality headlight replacement that you should not have to replace for a very long time, consider spending a little more and buy the KC headlight replacements.
It’s kind of neat that it’s got the ‘KC” logo at the bottom. I believe that’s glow-in-the-dark, so that’s kind of cool. At night whenever you’re driving, the light will charge that up and then when you turn your lights off, you’ll actually be able to read “KC” on it.

Cons
- The only con is they are a little higher priced than some of the cheap alternatives.
