When Kia first introduced the all-new Seltos in June, little was known about the model except that it was designed to target tech-savvy millennials interested in smaller SUVs and that it is packed with a luxurious infotainment system.
The compact SUV is an instant standout from the crowded segment with its long hood, full LED headlights and taillights, and sharp design lines.
And now, the brand has released official photos of the Seltos’s interior through a Korean consumer website.
Photos show a high-tech cabin bannered by the 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen that comes with navigation, while the ambiance is improved by Kia’s Sound Mood Lighting tech. For music lovers, the eight-speaker Bose premium sound system is also a head-turner.
Also included is a color head-up display, a seven-inch TFT multifunction display, remote start, Bluetooth compatibility for multiple devices, wireless phone charging, and a rear USB charge port. Interested consumers can also spoil themselves with heated seats in the front and rear rows.
In terms of technology, the Seltos is equipped with a driver assist system, which includes autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, as well as navigation-based adaptive cruise control.
The upcoming model will be offered in three cabin colors – black, burgundy, and brown – while the exterior will come in six single-tone finishes – black, white, silver, grey, orange, and blue. There will also be five dual-tone options such as white, grey, orange, blue, and yellow, which all come with a black roof for a nice contrast.
Kia, however, has not made any confirmation on whether the same interior options will be available in the U.S., but what’s sure is that the all-new model will be arriving in global markets sometime in the second half of this year.
