Key Features That Put the 2021 Ford Bronco Ahead of the Jeep Wrangler

The 2021 Ford Bronco is finally here and it’s living up to the hype.

Returning for a new model year with a slew of new features and technology, the long-awaited SUV debuted on July 13 through a series of short films aired through multiple networks 7from the Disney umbrella.

Everything is now out in the open for the revived model and experts are already making comparisons between the Ford head-turner and its segment rival, the Jeep Wrangler.

Both models are equipped with powerful features that make them worth the attention of SUV enthusiasts looking for their next off-roader. But according to some, there are at least four key features that put the new Bronco ahead of the Wrangler.

First on the list is side mirror placement. The Wrangler has its mirrors mounted on the removable doors, which can be a little troublesome for the owners. Ford designer Paul Wraith thought better and placed the mirrors on the cowl instead of the doors.

Another feature common in both SUVs is the front sway bar. However, the difference is that the Bronco’s hydraulic setup allows the driver to disconnect the front sway bar on the move while the Wrangler requires the driver to disconnect the bar way ahead of time.

Next is the Trail Turn Assist technology that locks the inside rear wheel of the Bronco during tight cornering, which comes handy when driving on narrow trails. This feature is part of the Trail Toolbox that also comes with Trail Control and Trail One Pedal Drive.

Finally, the size of the tires. For frequent off-roaders, it’s no secret that having bigger tires is better, so the Bronco’s 35-inch tires come out as the runaway winner when compared to the Wrangler’s 33 inches. Although the Jeep model can also accommodate tires in 35-inch sizes, it would mean more spending to customers.
